Where is OE's Killfile Option

OE had the easiest to use killfile feature of any newsgroup reader. You
could simply hit something like tool, block sender. Can't remember exactly
which spot it was in the menu. But Mail relies on the junk filters but I've
added senders to the block list and they still show up in the newsgroups.

So what is the new equivalent, if any in Windows Mail?

Find a message from that person and click on it. Click on Message, then
Create Rule From Message, then Delete it, and then OK.

Also this possibility -- some individuals repeatedly change just a small
part of their email addresses in order to bypass your Blocked Sender's list.
These are usually the troublemakers in newsgroups who can't stand to have
been killfiled. So, they appear to show up as the same sender, but they
have altered their email address. The best solution is to ignore them, and
they may eventually tire of the game.

I understand that some do this. But I don't think that was the issue. I
was just doing Message, Junk Mail, Add to Blocked. The old way was so much
simpler, why does MS seem to like to upgrade by making this more
complicated?

Apparently the newer Microsoft developers don't use newsgroups much, if
at all. If they did, they would not have eliminated such a useful feature.
