Where is my registry

C

I am trying to use the password resetter for my admin account. When I do it
askes which directory my registry is in. Apparently it isn't in the default
because it will not take that. How can I find where my registry is?
Thanks,
Chas

The WinXP registry can be found in C:\Windows\System32\Config\.
It'll be divided into several data files, such as Security, Software,
and System. The user-specific portion of the registry is stored in each
user profile, in a file named NTUser.dat.

Depending on when your XP system was installed, you may also find the
necessary Registry hive in C:\Winnt\System32\Config
