Where is my program and data

Jim

I don’t think I’m a newbie but this problem has me thinking I may be one.
I create a project in C# 2008 on my Windows Vista computer and then publish
it to my desktop. I run the setup.exe I just created. When I look for the
location of the program and data, I’m told it’s in:

c:\Users\Jim\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\K4YO4G4C.AM2\L72JDBYA.3L3\db9.exe_6f267ae9355a0334_0001.0000_none_5c009ec94de743de

When I go to navigate to this folder I can not find the AppData folder in
C:\users\Jim\
What’s going on here where is my program and data ?
Thanks,
Jim

The first step is admission....

Seriously, if you can't even find a hidden folder, you're pretty much a
newbie. But that's okay, we all were once.

It might be hard to swallow, but yes, you are still more in the newbie
side of the force.

The folder is hidden, that;s why you cannot see it.

and that location is intended to be a temp folder only.
For example when you download a zip file with IE and select open
instead of save it download it to a temp folder (with a path similar
to yours) and opens it from there.

According to quantum mechanics, the probability waves affecting your
harddrive may have randomly induced your folder's disappearance and
simultaneous reappearance in another part of the universe. Or maybe its
"hidden" attribute is simply on as the others suggested :)
