Where is my KB885626 update?

I installed SP2 and had to remove it as it stopped my PC
from booting up. I have now downloaded KB885626, which
apparently gets over this issue and allows me to reload
SP2, but looking in my update history I can't see
KB885626 but I can see SP2 installed successfully. I'm
now worried that the KB885626 update is not installed,
i'll load SP2 again and have the same problem. Does
anybody know if I am worried for nothing?

Get it and run it again. If the install proceeds and completes you are good
to go.

Did you check the "show updates" box in Add/Remove programs?
