Hi

I have just reinstalled Vista Ultimate and I no longer have a right click
option to Run a file as Administrator.

How do I get this back?

thanks

Daniel

Its not available on every executable. Which executable are you trying to
run as Administrator? If its not on the Contextual menu, check the
properties of the application under Compatibility > Priviledge Level > "Run
this program as an administrator.

Hi Daniel,

Run services.msc from the search line, then locate it there about midway
down the list. Double click the service to reach the more advanced options.

Hey, in Windows Vista is enough this:
start -> type: services
why you still say "services.msc"???? MVP, WAKE UP!

It's certainly enough to type just services, but I tend to list the full
command so that people know what they are running. After a decade of doing
this, I try not to make assumptions as to the level of computer knowledge
the poster may have, or of those that run across anything I write in
archives months or years later.
