Where has my TCP/IP gone?

J

Joseph R. Seda

I have lost Internet access on one networked workstation.
After bootup I receive a message stating that "TCP/IP is
not installed...". I also received the following message
when I tried to ping my Linksys router from this same
machine: "Unable to initialize windows sockets interface.
Error code 0".

Can anyone help me with this? My other workstations are
all functioning properly.

Thank you.

Look in the event viewer to see if there are any error messages that
indicate a missing reg key or dll. Otherwise, I'd suggest to remove and
reinstall TCP/IP - some application or driver that you installed may have
caused corruption.
