Hello Everyone,

I think I screwed up!

I was using Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 connecting via HTTP over RPC
with Cached Exchange Mode. Everything worked fine.

We had to take the mail server down for awhile and switch over to a
temporary POP3/SMTP server. So, I continued to use Outlook in "offline" mode
and I added a POP3 account to get the new mail. However, instead of creating
a new PST, I just pointed my new mail to the "Mailbox" folder in Outlook,
figuring that when the mail server came back up it would re-sync with my
Exchange mailbox.

The new mail server is up. However, it now has a new server name. Therefore,
from within Outlook, I edited the properties of my Exchange server account.
I must not have had the proper information, because I couldn't get Outlook
to connect. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the verified, underlined, original
server name back. Clicking cancel gave me an error about the accounts not
being right.

I closed outlook and reopened it, but it immediately popped up the box
asking for the new server information. This is where I started to get
worried. I closed down outlook and decided to back up the offline folder.
The problem is that I can't find it! There is not a single OST on my entire
hard drive..

Does anyone know what I need to look for? Did changing the Exchange account
setting delete my Cached Exchange Mode data?

Thanks,
Brian

You have to enable hidden files and folders. For Windows 2000 and XP, it's
in "C:\Documents and Folders\{user}\Local Settings\Application
data\Microsoft\Outlook"
