where do i start

i am a new user to database design

i need to build a table that allows point and averages of individule players
as well as team stat. i want to be able to make a form that allows me to view
a team then select player then enter his stats for that week then print
reports with average, high game win/losses etc if you know aof any websites
that may help me understand the relationships better would be great

First, you have to decide whether or not you want to learn Access. It’s a
lot of work but then it is extremely powerful, versatile and useful program
for storage, retrieval and use of information.

If you decide “yesâ€, I recommend doing all of these at once:

- Get and read a small “how to use Access bookâ€
- Start browsing through the on-line “for beginners†info sources
recommended by others in this forum.
- Start doing (struggling through) a very simple application (like your
Christmas card list). After that repost your original application and ask
the forum to recommend a structure.
- Ask questions (in this forum) when you get stuck or when you think you
could use some guidance
