I don't think it is possible to stream music into an email? There isn't a
media player in emails. Web sites have a software version of media player
coded into them. You have to be connected to the web page for that to work.
Is this an attachment or is it a link pasted into the email? Do you get any
error like there is no file association. Have you checked in media player
under tools, options and file types. See if asf and wma are checked. If the
web page doesn't open or the media player on your computer doesn't open,
there can't be sound.
There are several media player newsgroups you could try. Here's a list of
the ones I see.

microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player.plugins
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player.visualizations
microsoft.public.windowsmedia.player.web

They most definitely can be streamed from the web. I would be happy to mail
you a sample of how it is done. I have always been able to hear them until
recently. I know that when I post mails using this technique others can
hear them.

I will try these other sources and see if they can help me. Thanks so much
Budman.
