Where did my emails go after outlook 2003 upgrade?

Recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003. Exported .pst prior to upgrade
and then imported after upgrade. Everything imported fine except emails in my
inbox; these did not import back in. All other folders (containing emails)
imported just fine. Are these lost? Any thoughts?

This depends on how your outlook profile is configured. If you just did an
import then you should still have the original PST file and all email would
be there. You should just add the original PST file to your Outlook profile.
Once in there you can then move your items to the new inbox and once done
just remove the PST. Basically you should not have lost any email if you
have the original PST.

Never export to or import from a PST. There's no need and you'll lose data.

Do you still have to original PST? Just open it with File>Open>Outlook Data
File. Everything should be there and you can drag-and-drop or copy to your
heart's content.
