Where did it go??

What happened to the file size information that used to
be on the footer of windows 2000 windows. FOr example, if
a person connects to \\servername\c$ you used to get
information pertaining to disk space used and remaining.
Also, clicking somewhere in a window would cause the
bottom window foot to display the file size statistics
for the files in the focused window. Am i missing
something somewhere? How can i turn these features back
on?

View>Status Bar. Then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Re-start Windows Explorer. This will also put the Status Bar in Internet Explorer.
