On a home network (1 machine is XP Home, 1 machine is XP
Pro), I right-clicked on a network folder located on the
remote PC. I was intending to copy it to the local
machine, but my finger slipped off the mouse and I fear
that it hit the "Delete" command because it disappeared.
It is not in either machine's trash can, nor did it turn
up in searches. I tried undoing the action (ctrl-z), but
nothing happened.
Could this folder be buried somewhere in the Windows
folder? Is there a way to "undelete" it? I've always
wondered what happens to network deletes, because the
command comes from one PC, but they resided on the other.
Never appear in trash. Never was an issue before because
this is my first accidental delete.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
