Where are the RULERS

Hi

I have a new Windows Vista Home Premium that came with the package but am
experiencing trouble doing some very basic tasks.

I designs forms in Word and in Word you get the RULES at the top and side of
the page, with this new system the side rulers are not there so I cannot
correctly format the page I am designing.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

In Office 2003 Word, go to: View>and check-Ruler. If you have another
version, let us know and we'll show you how to turn "Rulers" on.

If you want MS Office Word it needs to be purchased separately. Looks like
you have gotten the Works Word when you bought your Vista HP machine.
Someone else may be able to help you and see if a "ruler" option is there or
not. I have no experience with that application.

On the Bridge

do you have the same ribbon interface (the new toolbars like I have in the
screenshot) ? If so, look at the same location

WORKS is just a version of word that Microsoft puts in another package....

In Word 2007 there is a tick box for Ruler in the view tab and a tiny
button top right of the document pane to toggle the ruler on/off.
