Where are the C# DirectX Samples in the latest DirectX 9.0 Feb SDK

Problems, problems...

Im trying to create DirectX Projects within C# and to also look at the
latest DirectX C# Samples.

I have just installed MS Visual C# .net Standard Edition on my Windows XP
Pro PC and I then installed the full DirectX 9.0 SDK (Summer 2004) & then the
latest DirectX 9.0 SDK (Feb 2005)

Spent several hours doing all this but there are NO DirectX C# sample
projects under the SDK folder (just C++) and there is no DirectX C# Project
Template avaiable either when I try and create a New Project in C#.

Could anyone help me with trying to get the C# DirectX samples & the DirectX
Project Template going.

Many thanks

Mike

I still think it's worth the download because it does include C# sample
projects. Note that it does not include the .NET framework or DirectX
runtime. Therefore, it should run with the newer versions you have already
installed...although the samples may require a few small syntax changes.

I'm not sure where the C# examples are for 9.0c SDK...but this is a start.
I don't believe there will be a problem installing them side by side...but
I'm not certain of that. Also, I'm not sure if the samples in this SDK
actually include a DX template...but that should not be a major problem
because you can just learn from the samples.

Many thanks for the reply.

A few months ago I tried out the 60 day trial for the Full Visual Studio
..Net 2003 and downloaded and installed the DirectX Summer 2004 SDK and this
did install the latest C# DX Samples and also put a DX Project Template in
the C# Project area.

Its a shame this did not work again for the Standalone C# .net 2003 Standard
edition I have just purchased. A bit disappointing. I will try the old DX SDK
Dec 2002 version but not sure if will install over the later DX SDK versions.
Might cause more problems..

Does anyone have anything else I can try out. This really should be very
straight forward to do. Is it something to do with the C# Standard Edition ??

Anyhelp much appreciated.
