where are texture files stored

I am using Powerpoint 2003 and Windows XP home. Can anyone tell me where the
standard Powerpoint texture files are stored? They are not stored in
\program files\microsoft office\clipart\backgrounds or any other obvious
places that I can find. As far as I can see, Powerpoint doesn't have a
dedicated folder anywhere on my computer.

I'm afraid they are hardcoded into Powerpoint, I for one have never been
able to find them.
You can add one though using the 'Other Texture' button and browsing for
your own file. I far as I can remember it will be saved with your
presentation only and will not be available when you start a new one.
