Where are passwords kept in Windows XP

When logging on to different internet sites it asks you if you want
passwords remembered on this computer, does anyone know what directory and
filename they are kept in windows XP

Hi ... This isn't a location but , rather in how its done , If you open IE
and click "Tools" follow by " Internet Options " highlight the "Content "
tab and , select " AutoComplete "

You cannot access this directly. If you want to change settings for
passwords, go to Internet Options, Content tab, Auto Complete.
