Where are more .adm policy templates?

Where are more supported policy templates???

I have a win2k3 server with AD. I thought that Group Policies were supposed
to be so much better than the old NT system policies. There must be a lot
more .adm policy templates besides admin.adm, isn't there? I don't want
usupported adm files, like the old system policies, but ones supported by 2k
and 2k3 GP. We have NT and 2kpro machines using these policies. Does
anybody know where I can find more policy templates???

Specifically I want to specify a desktop background without Active Desktop,
and I want to specify Office settings.

Although Im not sure where to get new templates, there are 4 or 5 (if u
have wuadm.adm) that seem to do just about everything. One of the big
pieces of the new GPO's are some of the override features and the Group
Policy Resultant Console piece which allows you to review all the changes
before implenting a GPO. It works very well especially in enviornment where
there will be several different GPO's on different levels and/or domains.

adm files are still located in %systemroot%\inf. The default adm viewed in
group policy are conf.adm, system.adm, inetres.adm, wuau.adm, and wmplayer.
In gpedit window you can load additional adm files. Desktops configuration
settings are available by default including disabling Active Desktop.
Desktop redirection is also included in group policy to customize desktop
enviroment.

I have not seen an adm that is able to set Office settings someone else will
need to post the location of that if it exists.

I assume I'm already using all 4 or 5 .adm files. They're all in the list
already when I go to "add templates". That seems to indicate that they're
currently being used, not there to add to the list.

DO you see ANYWHERE in Group Policy that I can manage a user's background
wallpaper on his desktop if Active Desktop is NOT used? I can't. How bout
how to change the desktop THEME (but not on XP or newer, on 2k and NT.) Do
you see anywhere that I can change settings for Office, like WORD? I don't.

There's gotta be more .adm files out there.

ANYBODY KNOW OF ANY??? (Ones that are supported by win2k or win2k3 Group
Policy.

The ADM templates for the entire Office suite can be found in the Office
Resource Kit. Likewise, the ADM templates for really advanced IE settings
can be found in the IEAK.

As for comparing Group Policy to NT 4.0 .pol files? Forget it... while
they both may still have check boxes to turn things on and off, that is
about as far as the similarities go... they are apples and oranges.
