Where are Mail messages exported to in MS Exchange format?

When exporting Windows Mail messages, a dialog pops up, permitting the
selection of a particular target folder. Unfortunately, exporting in MS
Exchange format does not provide this dialog and automatically exports to
somewhere on my computer's hard disk -- a location that I haven't been able
to locate.

Can someone tell me which folder Windows Mail automatically selects for this
process and why it doesn't let me select a particular location?

Thanks in advance.

It exports to the default location that Office Outlook is set to store its
data files. Exporting to Exchange exports to Microsoft Office Outlook and
the function will use the storage path and Personal Folders (.PST) file
defined in the current Outlook profile. To locate this path, go to 'Control
Panel|Mail|Data Files'; If you're using Outlook with an Exchange Server, the
export will go to your Exchange Server mailbox.
