I deleted for error some pics from an USB flash card (Jetflash 2.0).
There's a way to have them back?
There's a freeware able to do this?

Thanks in advance to all

Description:

"Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake.

Conversely, this program has another function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files. You can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and so on.

You don't have to install it, so it doesn't leave any garbage in the PC (You can also run it from a floppy disk)."

Digital Photo Recovery tool can help you recover lost images from
corrupted or accidentally formatted digital camera memory cards.

- Program works with ALL types of memory cards!
- It's able to recover images from formatted cards!
- Reads corrupted cards (even if they're not recognized by Windows)!
- Recovers JPG, TIF (and most of RAW) files!

Program should be able to read all memory cards currently available on
the market and recover lost JPG and TIF file. RAW format is not fully
supported but the program will read most of the corrupted RAW files too
and save them with TIF extension. While it's not optimized for that
task, this program can also read damaged floppys, CDs and DVDs.

Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery is an easy to use data recovery
tool for the recovery of accidentally delete image files on removable
media disks (Compact Flash, SmartMedia, Memory Sticks etc.). The
interface is very easy to use, just select the device that contains the
images that need to be recovered and specify the folder to save the
images to. Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery works with images that
have been deleted or formatted by the camera. Supported formats are
TIFF, Exif, JPEG and GIF. We tested it successfully with a freshly
camera formatted 1GB Flash card and were able to recover all images.

a couple weeks ago I SHIFT(skip recycle bin) deleted a whole directory by
mistake while I was on the phone .... I couldn't believe it. The files
were someone elses old wedding pics that I didn't really need but I was
bored so I tried to gettum back.

I poked around and this WORKED and got back 90% of the files intact ..
and it also revealed just what is not deleted on my drive .. some stuff
from years ago was still around

in my case the files were on a storage drive not my OS drive so that
probably helped ... it's worth a shot .. good luck

FreeUndelete is a freeware data recovery program for deleted files.

In case of accidental deletion of files on a NTFS file system (used by
default in Windows XP, 2000 and NT) FreeUndelete is the utility to help.

It is our pleasure to emphasize that FreeUndelete is free. There is no
charge, direct or hidden, to download and use a fully functional copy of
the program. The program does not install any spyware or adware along
with it. It does not populate user's desktop with pop-up ads or
forcefully subscribe user to mailing lists.

Thanks for posting that. I tried it on a couple of files I delibertly
deleted using Red Strikes "Wipe It", that claims to totatly delete
files, and the files were restored! The .jpg file wouldn't load in my
photo program, but was listed, and text file I tested could be opened
again so now I wonder if these delete programs really work, what else
is on my computer that I thought was totaly gone!
