When someone replies to a post it doesnt move to the top??

Hi All,
It seems that if a forum post is updated, the post doesnt move to the top.
Is this correct? I am aware that I can receive email notifications if I want
to know when posts are replied to, but I'd rather not get emails, instead I
just want to see the post at the top of the post list. Is there a way to set
this up? Seems strange that it works this way. If someone replies today to a
post from last week, I wont know about it unless I was aware of the post last
week & marked it with 'notify me'.

Do yourself a favor and use a newsreader rather than the clunky web
interface. You almost certainly have at least one already installed:
Microsoft Outlook Express.

You're using the horrible web interface to these groups. You'll get
very little help with it here, because very few of us use it. You'll
be much better off setting up an actual newsreader. Outlook Express is
probably already on your machine, or check Agent
(www.forteinc.com/agent) or Thunderbird (www.mozilla.org/thunderbird).

The second part of your statement is sadly not true "You'll get very
little help with it here, because very few of us use it." Many use it
but not most of those read many posts and provide many answers to
problems!

Looking at the web interface I suspect there is no way to sort!

Tim I wonder how many your best answers have ever been rated or
answered questions shown as answered. It's pathetic!
