when sending e-mail using word says interface not recgonised!!

when sending new e-mails using word as editor. on sending e-mail get error
message saying interface not recgonised can any one help as i'm a new outlook
user.

Your Word version must match your Outlook version or you cannot use Word as
editor. You can't use Word 2000 or XP with Outlook 2003.

While technically Mary is correct, I believe her statement doesn't apply to
your case. I'll bet the message actually says "interface not registered",
not "not recognized". Try this: click Start>Run. Enter

regsvr32 ole32.dll

in the Open field and click OK.

Your help fixed in about 2 seconds. What caused this to happen in the first
place? I figured since you had the soloution you mihgt know the cause too?

I don't know the cause, but reading this group and others gave me the answer
to pass on.

Thanks Brian,

It literally solved all the problems which i faced
1. was not able to edit graph in Power Point
2. Was not able to send email throught word email editor
3. was not able to take print of any emails

I tried even uninstalling and reinstalling MS Office totally But this single
command solved all the problems

Thank you so much. it was really helpful.
