When scrolling the image goes blank

Hi,

I insert an image which shows up as a blank box. Then i click the print
preview and its shows up. When i go back to normal view the image is there
but as i scroll it removes the image for a blank box.

I've tried picture placeholder and drawing check boxes but still no joy. Any
ideas?

This happens quite a lot if the picture you insert is of a considerable size
or high definition (seeing as the two are related) and/or you do not have
sufficient free memory/low graphics capability.

If your pictures are very large you could try reducing the size of them in a
picture editing program before inserting it intothe document.

Thanks Graham,

Actually i just put in a new graphics card which maybe the problem. Its a
really good one so i dont think its that. Maybe its set up wrong. Its never
done this before.

Do i need to turn the memory up or something?

I'm also running two monitors
