When running any reports,... NOTHING

L

Laurie

Hello,

I have a few databases that contain reports. These reports are run almost
daily by me and coworkers with no problems. Well, today, when we try to run
any report... NOTHING. No report comes up, no error message, nothing. We see
the mouse as an hourglass, and then that's it-- no other indication that
we've tried to run anything.

When I move the databases off of the network (in case it's a network
problem, which believe me, we are swimming in), no change.

Any ideas?

FYI, going into design view produces the same results, as does trying to
build a new report. Queries and tables all seem to be operating normally.

I am almost sure this is an issue with not having a default printer set in
your Windows Control Panel. I expect if this recently happened to all users
on your network, some changed something.

You may need to update your printer drivers. You could also try change to a
known good printer.

Hi Duane,

Thank you so much-- I have not the slightest clue what happened to our
printer, but setting another printer as default worked. Than you! I was
frantic.
