When on Google...

When on Google, I type something in the search box, and right away old
search inquiries appear. For instance, I press "Ba", and there you
have, "baseball, battery and battle". How do I prevent that? Thanks in
advance.

The only way I have been able to stop
the 'Google Query Suggestions' is to
open a Google search page and go to...
'Search Settings' and Tick..."Do not
provide query suggestions in the search box"
Then click the...'Save Preferences' button.

You need to use Google Dashboard to opt out of your searches being
saved. Google is handy, but you really have to configure all the options
to keep it from nosing in on your online business.

The URL for Google Dashboard is:
https://www.google.com/dashboard

Also don't forget to set your preferences from the Google search page.
Finally I recommend that you do not allow all the cookies Google tries
to set on your PC to be allowed ( too much tracking/marketing....)

I was not precise enough. I was talking about AUTO COMPLETE. Just in
case someone else has the same question:I disabled it: Control Panel,
Tools , Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete, Settings, Uncheck
all boxes, Delete AutoComplete History.
