Thanks for the reply Frank,

I looked in the Outbox folder, there aren't any messages there. Which fix
should I use, the first one you posted about deleting the WinMail
databases
or the other fix that you just suggested that's contained in the link you
supplied?

Will I lose any saved messages with either fix?

The WinMail database solution was one of a few ways to do it before MS
issued the patch. I wouldn't advise it anymore. Some people reported
message loss with my old method but I haven't heard of any with the patch.

Windows Mail is part of Vista and very hard to remove without also removing
the rest of Vista. You can, however, keep from doing much by removing all
the accounts under it. You can also delete any shortcuts that help you
start it.

Why remove it if it doesn't get in the way? Just don't use Windows Mail.
Since it is part of Vista, it is very difficult to remove.

THANKS MR.SAUNDERS ,YOUR HELP WAS CLEAR AND FAST WORKING.BEST REGARDS AND
GREETINGS FROM ITALY FLORENCE

That is a terribly old post and I don't reccommend that method since
Microsoft came out with this:
Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090
It also works on other folders.
