When I use "select all", margin settings are not included.

I am trying to create a letterhead template using "Auto Text". When I copy
my original document using "select all" and then place it on a new blank
page, the margins change from 1" to 1.25" (the default margin on the blank
page). How do I get the 1" margin to be included in my "Auto Text" template?

Why are you using AutoText for this? Set up a letterhead template (a dot
file).
