Ok, heres the deal, I have a Dell Dimension E520, it came with Vista

I'm trying to install XP, I used GParted and deleted all the Windows Vista
partitions (so I'm somewhat screwd)

I have a Windows XP home edition install disk and when ever I pop it in and
get it booted up, as soon as I get to "Starting Windows" install screen, I
get the generic blue screen, and I really gotta fix this and fast!

HELP ME!!!

Well, don't call Dell: Your warranty is screwed until you reinstall Vista
using either the Dell media or the hidden Recovery partition.

OK, I found the problem out for myself, I had to enable the SATA HDD in the
BIOS as a ATA HDD. (I feel stupid)
