when I set up my labels there is no grid

I'm trying to print lables. Something I do all the time. When I went to
select my label size standard Avery 5667 return address lables there was no
grid on the sheet. I can add borders which will outline the grid but then
that prints out on the sheet. Any suggestions on how to get the grid back?
