when I plug joypad, showing "Unknown Device"

I got joypad and no need drivers for it, but when I plug it (into USB),
showing that connected "Unknown device", I restart computer and then launch
game. But in game controls menu, I cant find joypad. There is only keyboard.
For my friend joypad is working with no problems!

Why it is showing unknown device? How to solve this problem?

windows might require certain software/drivers to recognise your joypad.

you might have to load the software which cam with your JoyPad

The company who made this joypad said that no need drivers for it. Just plug
it, restart and that's all. When I told about this error they said that
problem is with your windows and can't help to me.
BTW for my friend the same joypad is working with no drivers!

Well, have you tried your friends joypad in yours... incase yours is
faulty...

Remove any unknown device from within device manager, before trying

If still no joy, then rather than waste anymore time with the joypad, get a
refund being that it doesn't do what it says...
buy one that does work with yours....
