when i open excell document does not open

after i have made a doc with excell i then save it. when i come to reopen the
document i get a blank excell screen i then have to browse for the document
and then open it.
canet find out how to get excell to automatically open the document as it
should , have reinstalled excell and tried repair.

Hi Carl,

Choose Tools/Options/General from the Excel menu and make sure the
"Ignore Other Applications" checkbox is not checked.
