When I minimize Outlook, it closes. Why?

When first installed on a new computer in the fall, it minimized normally.
Then I had some power unit problems which ended up requiring a replaced main
board, the power unit and a stick of 256 MG Ram which burnt out. Now
whenever I minimize outlook, it just closes.

Version of Outlook? What is logged to the Event Viewer?

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Right click on the Outlook icon in the Notification Taskbar (on the right)
and make sure Hide when minimized is not checked.

Office 2003, nothing in the event viewer, because Mary was correct - Hide
when minimized was checked in the notification task bar.

Thanks for your posting Roady.
