When I hit the printscreen key and paste to word,I get an outline

I 've done this before, where I push the print screen key, then open
Microsoft Word and right click and paste it on the word document.I could go
to print preview and see picture and all,then print. Now, when I paste it on
the Word document, all I see is an outline where the picture should be. When
I go to print preview,there is the picture and everything I want to see in
the document. I just can't understand why I can't see the picture before I
print the document

Hi Ted

Try going into Tools, Options, click onto the View tab and remove the tick
from the 'picture placeholders' option. This shows an outline for pictures
rather than the picture itself.
