when I delete, I get dialog "do you want to delete block?"

When I select text to delete in word, I get a little pop up right above "auto
shapes" in the lower left hand corner that asks me if I want to delete the
block. I would like to avoid this extra step when deleting text.
Anybody???????

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two boxes for
WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
