Whenever i want to send an email with an attachment (just word files) they
are recieved as a big mess in several parts, one for the message and one for
each attachment.

Any ideas as to how to stop this?

Its something to do with MIME format, so im told by a friend.

Heres an example:

Return-path: <[email protected]>
Received: from dial-62-64-201-192.access.uk.tiscali.com

The attachements then just come afterwards which appear in a similar format.

Send using plain text or HTML - not Rich Text.<snip>

Does your friend use a newer e-mail client that can read MIME?
