Well, that depends on what "remote application" you are using and what
options you have set (if possible) regarding request for read receipts.
In Microsoft Outlook Web Access, there is a option on how OWA should respond
to those request.
In Outlook, you can customize the colums you would like to have/see.
Normally, you would have colums like From, Subject, Received and Size,
however you can add "Receipt Requested" as well, to be able to see this
information. In OWA, you don't have this option to customize your view; at
least not from client point of view.
