I am thinking of getting a Dell Laptop
just thinking

what I think I could save on is the support services

if i went for the basic support of one year
i could save 130 quid
what do u all reckon?

is it worth the risk?

oh my days

do all laptops NT HAVE FLOPPY DRIVES?

dell are charging THIRTY QUID FOR ONE
that is madness

I don't know if most do, you'd have to check the specs - if they charge extra it will be for an external one I guess. I can't even remember the last time I used a floppy disk, and I can't see ever using one again My laptop doesn't have one and it's no miss The only time that you may need one is on an old PC - new ones boot from CD an USB sticks are far cheaper/easier.

No newer laptops don't come with floppy drives unless you specify when your buying....No need for them most boot off of cd anyway
