I have added DVD RW. But when booted up. I cannot find DVD ROM that was
already installed in My Computer. It is opening amd closing ok. I cant
install drivers without the DVD ROM working.

Will the DVD RW open if no drivers installed?

If not how can i install my new hardware?

Please help

Are they SATA or PATA drives?

If PATA are they on the same cable and correctly jumpered as Master and
Slave?

Sounds like both jumpers at the rear of the optical drives are set to Master
or Slave... you can't have two Masters or two Slaves on the IDE.... Set one
to Master and the other to Slave.

There are no drivers needed for DVDRW, Windows has built in drivers for cds
and dvds.
