Whe I close Word 2007, it crashes and restarts. V. annoying

I have a problem with my Microsoft Word 2007 and Excel 2007 programmes. I
recently upgraded from the Office 2003 OEM package to the Office 2007 OEM
package for my Windows Vista PC. All the programmes open and save fine, but
whenever I try to close Word or Excel I get a message saying "Microsoft Word
has stopped working" and the programme crashes and then restarts.
Effectively, I can never fully close either Word or Excel, because they
always crash when they close and then restart.

This has been happening for almost a week and I've searched all over the web
to find a solution. Can anybody help!?!

Thanks,

David L

Thanks for the link Terry, but unfortunately I'm having difficulty finding
out how to solve this particular problem. So far I have removed all the
printers from my PC (which seems to be the main way of fixing the problem)
but still the problem is occurring. Do you have any other links?

Thanks,

It's looking like I should delete the registry key
(http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...a202&catlist=&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-us) but I'm not completely sure exactly what to delete.

When I go into the registry editor, there are four items: Default - REG_SZ,
Settings - REG_BINARY, SettingsWordMail - REG_BINARY, and Toolbars -
REG_BINARY. Am I supposed to delete all four of these items?
