What's Wrong With The Location?

Does anyone know why I keep getting "Can't be saved to this
location" message when I try to save some web pages? If I use
Netscape, I don't have any problems.

Where are you trying to save it to? Is it a legitimate location?
Does the path exist, and all that?

Yeah, the paths are all proper and everything. Sometimes I can't
save certain web pages to any location whether it's to the hard
drive or to a floppy. At best, I can save the page in text format.

I suspect that the message is misleading. E.g. there may be nothing
wrong with the location; it could be it is just IE's way of telling you that
it isn't going to try to save the other formats *anywhere*.

FWIW I once had difficulty saving KB articles using the options in
the File, Save As... dialog but I could *send* it to OE and it could
do a Save As... instead. YMMV.
