What's up with DFIncBackup?

I Googled this group and read that it's not freeware, but instead is
trialware. Can anybody elaborate on this?

The site:

says that it's freeware. I've sent a message asking about this to the
author(s) and will post a summary of their reply.

shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses or warez

Thanks for replying, Mario. And that's correct. The authors emailed me
back and said that apparently people must have downloaded the shareware
version which is indeed time limited. The freeware version isn't though:

"No, there are two versions of DFIncBackup:
Freeware (no limits) - http://www.dfincbackup.net/freeware.htm
Shareware (trial) - http://www.dfincbackup.net/
But some people have no time to read..."

This was an unfortunate misunderstanding which I hope got straightened
out already. Note that I only posted the link to the shareware version
in order to help straighten this out.
