Most likely your new PC has Windows XP SP2 installed, so unless you want to disable security
features, you need to preview your site from a web server, as it sound like your page has active
content.

That's just WindowsXP SP2 and I.E. for you. The new security feature - just
telling you your javascript or whatever might be "malicious". When you
publish the page it will disappear.

The alert messages *can* be turned off, but then what would be the point of
having stricter security and turning it off? Everyone seems to complain
about how vulnerable IE is to hacker attacks etc, and as soon as MS do
something about fixing the problems, everyone complains even more about how
the security features make everything all the more inaccessible (eg no Java,
beeps and flashes at every run of every script, prompts "Do you really want
to do this?"

Wen you download ActiveX controls and so on.....at least it is doing this,
requiring user intervention; so if you click"OK" no one can say it didn't
get on your machine without you making it get there.

It will work when Published, yes. Those errros come up if your preview in
browser from your local C drive.
