Can anyone tell me why, everytime I start XP, my system
32 folder opens? It's not in the start menu so why does
it open? I've searched for buttons and options that may
control this but to no avail. It's driving me crazeeeeee.
Please help!

Will's link probably will have this: Did you look in all THREE startup
folders? Check

C/Documents and Settings/All users
C/Documents and Settings/Default user
C/Documents and Settings/Owner

As you know, if found in any of above, safe to delete if it's a shortcut.

You'll find a downloadable fix at
Line 260, right "system32 folder opens upon boot"
