What's "Error in registry for extension 'Exchange Extensions'"

G

Guest

This message keeps popping up whenever my co-workers opens Outlook:

Error in registry for extension "Exchange Extensions;?" The syntax or
format of the registry entry is incorrect. Check the registry and compare
the registry for this extension to other extensions in the registry.

What does this mean and what do I do about it?

Thanks

It means there is an older extension installed and a corrupt reg key is
annoying outlook (and the user who has to dismiss the dialog.) It's not
harming anything otherwise.

What version of outlook? Outlook 1003 SP1 should not have the problem.
