What type of Encryption to use?

Hi there,

I need to send word documents by e-mail but encrypted.

I've got Word 2002 with XP.

If open tools/options/security/advanced There are lots of types o
encrytion to choose, What type of encryption would you recommend? Wha
is the difference between them? Should I consider the version of M
word the receivers have in order to choose the type of encryption
Anyone know whats RC4?

Encryption is very complex. It's also a process that "takes two to
tango". Discuss the options with the persion you are sending the file
to and find out their capability to handle the encrypted document.

Since the contents of the document are important enough to you to
encrypt it, then I would recommend you engage the services of someone
qualified to advise you and make it work with you and your correspondents.
