a user here was sent a power point from another user...in this power point
there is a pyramid that is filled in with a grey color and lined with
gold/yellowish color. the user that received this power point does not see
the grey in the pyramid or the yellow/gold - it's just black and white yet
other colors in the same power point are correct. I verified on the senders
machine that the fill in was there, had them resend it after verifying that
to the other user and the same thing happens. from the machine which the
fill doesn't show I clicked file, send as attachment from within the
powerpoint and sent it to myself and the fill is there!

Everyone is on Windows XP Pro and Office 2003 Pro

What the heck?

Thanks!

Scott

Recipient probably has the machine set to High Contrast in Windows/Control
Panel/Accessibility. Turn it off, and the file should show in color.

Also make sure everyone has installed SP1 for Office 2003.

I've already looked there and it's not; where else would it be besides
display properties | appearance because it does look like it's displaying in
high contrast.
