What sort of increase will there be by upgrading DDR333 to DDR400 & fsb from 333mhz to 400mhz?

Hard to say, it would all depend on the sum of your PC's parts. The added
FSB should only be one factor for a fast PC.

Two WD Raptors in RAID 0 would help alot, so would memory @ 2-2-2-5.

About 3% if kept at the same core speed. Now if you go to 11x200 you
should notice it, assuming your video card isn't the bottleneck.

graphic radeon9700.

Achieved 11x200 for a brief period of time but then my 333mhz kingston
failed. so all i need is ddr400 preferably 2.3.3.5 which is probably
expensive. my HD is 80GB maxtor 7200rpm @ ultra dma

that is precisely what i intend to do. however with the vulcan 9
sounding like small jumbo jet landing at this configuration i am
strongly considering water cooling.
