What should be istalled?

Hi, just a general question about what programs can safely be left on your
set up prior to installing Vista RC1? I have Norton Security, will this need
disabling, is it okay to have IE RC1 installed before installing Vista, and
what about WLMD beta? Should this be dis-abled? Its just that when I install
RC1, I want to make sure that I have no programs installed that might clash
with it.
 
Use the Upgrade Advisor on the DVD.
Uninstall, not just disable, anything Vista may have issues.
Especially uninstall any anti virus and other malware detection programs, so
uninstall Norton.
I would also suggest uninstalling any Betas you may have installed.

You may be better off with a Clean Installation..
 
Thanks for That Jupiter Jones (nice name!) I might do just that!! I don't
want to create any problems with this RC1!!!
