What programme opens files in Microsoft Access XP?

I'm trying to work in New Clait 2006 using Access XP, but when I try opening
any of the files I am unable to. Instead I am asked what created the program.
Which program do I need to get in?
 
Your question is very confusing.

What is "New Clait 2006"? How are you "using Access XP" to work with it?

Access can only open files that were created with Access. What are the file
extensions of the files you're trying to open?
