What program do I use to open Access 2003?

I am in college and I copied and pasted an Access file so that I can work on
it in my work space, but when I try to open it a window pops up that says
Windows is unable to open this file. What is the problem?

You either do not have the Access program on your machine, or the file
is a newer version of Access than the one on your machine.
