what makes pst files get bigger in size?

I have a pst file which is 75 MB and I dont see the reason why its so big.

I do not have files attached in the calnder or so...

Is there a way to reduce the size?

Try to reduce the size by compacting the file.

Control Panel | Mail | Datfiles | Settings | Compact

You add items to them, like incoming mail, appointments, tasks, contacts,
etc.

That's not big.

Delete items, empty the Deleted Items folder, and compact the PST.
